USD's Host Conference Joins the USCCS
The Great Plains Soccer Conference announced they will join the U.S. College Club Soccer Organization starting in the Fall of 2026. The USCCS is "The first and only National Organization whose purpose is to unite and develop college club soccer teams and its student-athletes, the ones who truly play for the love of the game". Joining the USCCS will allow the Great Plains Soccer Conference access to consistent post-season opportunities, including regional and national tournaments, a wider network of support for clubs, and livestream capabilities.
Per a release on their website, "USCCS has aimed to elevate the college club soccer experience for every soccer-playing student athlete since launching in 2024 and will work in partnership with established college club soccer leagues West Coast Soccer Association, Region V Soccer, Upper Midwest Collegiate Soccer League and Collegiate Club Soccer to deliver a top-class college club soccer experience."
Club President Joseph Nyoni says "Joining the USCCS will broaden our ability to compete both regionally and nationally, providing a better experience for our club members."
Current members of the Great Plains Soccer Conference include The University of South Dakota, Augustana, South Dakota State, Minot State, North Dakota State, and The University of North Dakota.
