USD Women's Rugby heads to U23 Central South Region Tryouts
Over the weekend, 5 Yote Rugby players traveled to OKC for U23 Central South Region Team
Last weekend, 5 USD Women's Rugby players traveled to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to participate in a 15's game to tryout for the U23 Central South Mustangs Select Side. The Mustangs are made up of team members from the Prairie States League (USD's home conference), Texas Rugby Union, and Mid-America Rugby Union, which covers players living in states of South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Texas, and Louisiana. Selections will be made this week, and players will return to OKC for team practices and training, and then compete in the U23 All Star Tournament in Minneapolis, MN June 17-21. These members hope to extend the list of U23 Mustangs from USD, following Former Club President Tarynn Ball, and Catie Reiter who competed on the 2025 squad.
USD's coach Hayley Snodgrass will serve as an Assistant Coach for the 2nd straight year leading the Forwards.
